MissIon:
To lead the student ministry team to lead students (6-12th grade) to experience real life Christ through worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and missions. FC Student ministry exists to partner with parents to raise strong and growing Christ followers to impact their homes and communities.
Role
The Student Pastor will serve within the leadership of the Next Gen Pastor. The Next Gen Pastor will be involved in the creation and coordination of the teaching themes and plans and will provide oversight for all ministry direction decisions.


Responsibilities
- coordinate weekly worship services for student ministry (6th-12th grade).
- Improve and implement new structures for continued growth and discipleship of students and leaders.
- Lead in developing teaching plans for Student Worship
- Regularly communicate with parents about upcoming events and general information
- Work to partner with parents to lead students and encourage parents
- Preach for 50% Student Worship services
- Plan and coordinate other teachers and preachers within the student ministry to preach within the teaching series and plans. (50%)
- Lead out with Next Gen Worship for weekly service planning.
- Help to develop and deploy discipleship plan that is already developed.
- Develop and grow existing team culture & vision for ministry
- Work in coordination with Student Ministry Team to plan and implement student events
- Connect with students at ball games, weekend activities, school functions as able
- Connect in the schools where able through sports, FCA & other opportunities
- Manage volunteer coordination for weekly FC Student worship gatherings and events
- Manage planning and calendaring events
- Oversee budget and budget planning
- Work with other pastoral staff to help minister to and care for the people of Fellowship
Qualifications
Spiritual Health: Individuals should exhibit a vibrant, growing personal relationship with God. They should practice personal spiritual disciplines and be engaged in healthy, ongoing community with other Christ followers.
Passion: Individuals should exhibit, in word and action, a growing passion for God, for His Word, for worship, for the families that comprise Fellowship Church, and for those who do not know God. This passion should be evidenced by a missional lifestyle.
Integrity: Individuals should be “above reproach” (i.e. honest, trustworthy, respectful) in all areas of their life (e.g. home, work, community involvement).
Teachability: Individuals should be humble and hungry to learn and grow. They should be an active listener and exhibit a consistent desire and willingness to learn from others.
Wisdom: Individuals should exercise discernment in relating to others. This relates to appropriate topics of conversation, appropriate types of activities, etc. They should take care to avoid even the appearance of evil.
Strong Work Ethic: Individuals should exhibit a willingness to work hard and serve others in a wide variety of capacities. They should be prompt and reliable, following instructions and working with excellence. They should be self-starting and exhibit strong self-management skills.
Commitment: Individuals should exhibit a strong commitment to Fellowship Church, to its leaders, and to the activities and programs of Fellowship Church.
Capacity: Individuals should organize and manage multiple priorities. They should communicate consistently and clearly when objectives seem untenable or when workload is too great or too light.
