The week starts Sunday, February 8th. All week we have projects sponsored by Life Groups and different church ministries.

Geaux Goodies for Upcoming Missions
What: We will fill the lobby with sweat treats for sale on Sunday September 14th. All donations will go to fund the evangelistic missions in Honduras and South Africa. You can make individually wrapped sweat treats to sell or help at a sale table in one of the three services. It’s all fun and for a great cause.

Seafarers Center
What: Prepare and serve lunch to the existing and new volunteers at the Seafarer Center. Encourage their missions efforts and hear testimonies of what God is doing.

Yardwork for an Elder
What: Be a part of helping a couple who has gotten older and can no longer care for their lawn.

Pack the Pantry
What: Fill the stomachs and the souls of those who are hungry in our community by donating some needed food items.

Who: This is open to anyone
First Responder Encouragement
What: Serving a meal to our first responders and sharing the gospel
When: Monday, September 15th and other times available for coordination
Where: Meet at Fellowship Church and depart to local fire stations
Who: This is a family friendly serve opportunity designed to bring the gospel to our local first responders

Christmas Sorting Party at TFC
What: Sorting Christmas donations at The Fellowship Center. There are amazing donations that will be staged in the sorting room. Drop in for the time you have to help make donations ready for sale. The assistance center of TFC is funded by donation sales.

TFC Volunteer Appreciation Lunch
What: Serving the volunteers and staff at TFC a meal to show them our appreciation. It’s a simple finger food buffet that you can add your favorite dish, side or take out.
When: Tuesday, September 17 (drop off between 10:00-11:00am, celebration 11:00am-Noon)

Who: Anyone who wants to contribute food or has an hour on Wednesday willing to share some love with the volunteers of TFC.
TFC Light Construction | Christmas Sorting Session
What: Come help build some simple sorting racks in the staging room to help maximize ability to use space and also sorting Christmas decorations.

What: Students are bringing requested items to pack the pantry and then organizing bags of meals for distribution.

Ministry to the Isolated – Nursing Home Visit
What: Spend some time with those who can often feel isolated. Play a game, make a craft or just sit and listen. Our goal is always to speak love and to share the God who is love. Jesus was present among his people. Our presence can communicate God’s love to others.

FC Seniors Food Pantry Care
What: Collect adult and baby diapers for the Fellowship Center’s pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the church office, the Fellowship Center, or at the seniors luncheon. After the luncheon, we’ll write encouraging cards for pantry volunteers and include Fellowship Church invitation cards to be shared with families receiving diapers. This is a simple way to support our community and share hope with those in need.
